The easiest way to either mirror or extend your PC's display is by pressing the combination of the Windows logo key  + P. To mirror your display, select "Duplicate" – to extend it, select "Extend". This is what it should look like on Windows 10:

macOS

After establishing a connection between your Mac and iPad, iPhone, or Android device, go into My Devices > Display Mode and select either "Mirror" or "Extend".

After selecting "Extend", you can use the dropdowns below with all the available resolutions and other settings.
