How to setup the Keyboard & Mouse Sharing connection

The Keyboard and Mouse Sharing (KMS) feature allows users to control a main computer (Windows or Mac) using the mouse and keyboard from a second computer. Unlike Duet’s display features, no secondary display is shown during KMS. You will only notice the active connection while sharing mouse and keyboard controls between devices.

To make this connection, follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure both computers are logged in using the same Duet account with an active Pro subscription and are up to date with their Duet versions.
  2. On the main computer's Duet app, look for the option "Keyboard Mouse" and press connect.
  3. Make sure you have your Remote Display direction set properly.
  4. Control the secondary computer's mouse and keyboard from the primary device.
